The British R&B, electronic, and pop artist Jamie Woon performed in Le Botanique in Brussels on Friday, 24 April. After ten years, the singer went on tour again, with his last stop being in Brussels.
You could feel the joy and excitement of seeing him back on stage from both the singer and the crowd. The setlist took you on a journey from calm, soulful songs to upbeat, electronic tracks that had the whole venue dancing.
Jamie Woon's vocals are incredible and very soothing; I just wanted to close my eyes and become one with the music. His vocals are backed by a great band, and Jamie himself plays guitar, all of them playing solos that remind you of why you love live music.
If you’re a fan of James Blake and Sampha, or Jamie’s earlier work like “Night Air” or “Sharpness”, His new album “3, 10, Why, When” is definitely one to check out!
