Sylvie Kreusch is a Belgian singer-songwriter who has released two full-length albums to date – “Montbray” (2021) and “Comic Trip” (2024).

Having had an interest in music from a young age, Kreusch founded her first band, Soldier’s Heart, in 2007, when she was just 16. She later collaborated with her ex-partner on the studio releases of the Belgian musical duo Warhaus.

Sylvie has an extensive fashion and modelling background, having collaborated with brands and companies such as Ann Demeulemeester, HBO, Victoria’s Secret, BMW and Miu Miu.

Sylvie Kreusch is vocal about her support for a free Palestine, walking out with a watermelon flag during the live performances of her song “Walk Walk”, a symbol commonly understood to be referring to the Palestinian flag, while singing the lyrics “and I can’t keep it quiet no more.”

The Belgian singer had an impressive festival run this summer, having performed across Europe to some of her largest crowds, from Romania to the UK. She recently performed at a Show Up For Humanity charity concert at Atomium, Brussels, in September 2025, as part of which she stated, “I show up for humanity because no child should grow up in fear.”

Having been fortunate enough to watch her perform at Crammerock Festival in Stekene, Belgium, in September 2025, I was immediately drawn in by her impressive stage presence.

Sylvie’s performance style makes it look like she’s floating around the stage, her interactions with fans are substantial, and her vocals match each studio version perfectly. I was in awe, and I became an instant fan, having memorised many of her lyrics by now.

My personal favourite songs by her to date are the dreamy tracks “Cloud 9” and “Can’t Get It Done,” along with the more upbeat releases like “Ding Dong,” or “Let It All Burn.”

Sylvie’s versatility as an artist extends to her slower tracks, too – for example, “Wild Love” and the emotional “Daddy’s Selling Wine In A Burning House.” For new fans, I would recommend checking out the songs “Walk Walk” and “Sweet Love (coconut).”

The deluxe version of Sylvie Kreusch’s 2024 album “Comic Trip” is set to release on October 24, and one of the brand-new tracks, “Crack My Mind,” is out on Spotify now!
